As always, the Thanksgiving Assembly provided cheers and laughter to send us off to a joyful holiday.
You will see examples of the fun in the slide show. Represented are:
Ms. Fox and Mrs. Dickey produced the assembly. Ms. Fox provided the turkey jokes. An old favorite is: On what side of the turkey are the most feathers? (see end of post) Mrs. Dickey displayed her husband's turkey caller. Several students tried their hand with the callers (see slide show below). Drawings for turkeys allowed primary, intermediate, and community individuals to take home turkeys.
Mr. Christianson provided the Turkey Bowling game again this year.
First grade and fourth grade students presented poems and songs. Two students read essays.
Mrs. Armstrong-Montes created and presented "Tic Tac Turkey" participation game. And she led the assembly in music.
Of course, the favorite part of the assembly and the slide show are the participants of the pie-eating contest devouring their pies.
Thanks to all who contributed and who participated.
